Driving skills excellence: WorldSkills Europe publishes Member Survey 2025 Report
WorldSkills Europe has published the WorldSkills Europe Member Survey 2025 Report, which highlights how Member organisations are driving skills excellence across the continent.
In October 2024, WorldSkills Europe invited its Members to participate in the first ever WorldSkills Europe Member Survey, with the aim of providing WorldSkills Europe and its Members, Sponsors, and Partners with baseline information about the activities and impact of the WorldSkills movement across Europe.
The Member Survey 2025 Report presents the findings from the Member Survey responses, which showcase how WorldSkills Europe Members are driving skills excellence through their National Skills Competitions and activities, and participation at EuroSkills and WorldSkills Competitions. The Report includes information highlighting impacts, organisational structures and perspectives, and strategies for the future.
Each Member Country’s information is presented in a digestible two-page overview format, which is designed to be accessible to the reader, and which allows for easy comparison between countries of interest.
The Report also presents insights on the data, highlighting common challenges, opportunities, and goals, and future opportunities for WorldSkills Europe and its Members, Sponsors, and Partners to collaborate in measuring the impact and ongoing growth of the WorldSkills movement across Europe.

Laurence Gates, CEO of WorldSkills Europe, said: “The WorldSkills Europe Member Survey 2025 Report serves as an important benchmark for future Member Surveys, which are a key part of the WorldSkills Europe Strategy 2030 Action Plan. We plan to develop and enhance the Member Survey in collaboration with Members and conduct it every two to three years, so we can measure growth and progress, and showcase the impact of the WorldSkills movement across Europe more effectively.”
Data for the WorldSkills Europe Member Survey 2025 were collected between October 2024 and March 2025. Subsequent changes within Member organisations (e.g. staffing, sponsorship, partnerships, impact data) since then are not recorded in the Report. For more up to date information on each Member, please contact the relevant Member Country directly.
WorldSkills Europe membership has grown from 33 to 36 Member Countries since the WorldSkills Member Survey 2025 was conducted. The Survey therefore does not include information for North Macedonia (joined September 2025), Malta (joined June 2026), or Moldova (joined June 2026).
